I was just like wow when I saw what dinnerbone posted! It was amazing! In the new snapshot, zombies can infect villagers and turn them into new villager zombies, zombies and skeletons have armour (which would explain their rare drops) and so much more! you should follow him on twitter. anyway, what do you guys here at crafty boards think about i? ;D

Looking like a good update, I got the snapshot and messed around with the "work in progress bloc" that one that shoots beams into the air, its essentially a different way of enchanting and get different enchantments that apply to you as a character for a certain amount of time depending on the resources/offering you used. Very cool try it out.

Oh that's cool, so it's like a thing that gives you potion effects like speed/jump/strength? Also the command block could be really useful. Like if you click the block it activates the command /give diamond 1 so it's like a diamond dispenser? Or /spawnmob creeper 1. How fun

Yeah command block is cool, me and my friend will be making a adventure map(thats another idea for a forum section adventure maps by the way) that uses command blocks. You can use them to only give you ONE of the items by it either activating tnt to blow up or a piston to stop the redstone signal.

Command block is so amazing. However, does anyone know how to use those "@p" and "@a", Because when I put them in the middle of a command where they're supposed to be, they don't work.

To change the command executed by the block, simply right-click it, and a GUI will open.
In place of player names, it is possible to use multiple different shorthands: @p --- Nearest player @r --- Random player @a --- All players
When using commands, treat them as if entered from the console - you always need to specify the target, so it is not possible to use commands such as "kill" which do not take a player argument.
So for example, to change the mode to survival for the nearest player:

Is there a command block interface?
If there isn't, maybe you should do it like this: /give 137 @p 1 64
137 is the data value. This is how different types of saplings and planks are spawned.
